EDUCATIONAL MEETINGS
MMBA presents educational seminars on medical billing and related topics to keep members abreast of current information. Speakers representing Third Party Payers are often asked to participate. We currently have five active Chapters across the state. They are Flint/Genesee County, Detroit/Tri-County, Lansing, Saginaw, and Grand Rapids. Each Chapter hosts a minimum of three meetings annually. All members are invited to all meetings regardless of the area in which you live. Most meetings are free of charge to members. Members receive priority registration for all events....
MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY
An annual directory is provided. It contains information about your fellow professionals and is arranged by specialty. Each member is allowed to list his/her expertise in a maximum of four specialities. The directory puts you in touch with other billers to discuss problems and questions.
INSURANCE LIAISON
MMBA is engaged in liaison activity with Third Party Payers in an effort to resolve major billing problems. A liaison officer is available to coordinate these activities. Billing problems may be brought to the attention of the Insurance Liaison who will voice your concern to the appropriate carrier with the clout of the organization behind you.

MMBA offers a member's only site that allows you to participate in the Forum (Blog) to communicate with your peers, review passed meeting minutes, view and post job openings, and browse our directory.
